Well, today was my last day working for SuperValu/Albertsons/Osco Drug... 13years gone. I really don't like jobsearching. (Though there is one AZ state job that I think I qualify for and that I would do good at that the lower pay range is$6K more than current payrate. :) Library services for Blind and Visually impaired. The first review of resumes was supposed to be 30 Nov. Unfortunately, I won't hear anything unless I am selected. (and yes, I know that is standard.) ) Then there are a couple jobs at Safeway that look good. (Tess went to Safeway.) One of the Safeway jobs is quite a bit of travel within the state. That would mean I would need to get a new car. Not having AC is tolerable when main travel is to/from work, less than an hour each way. If I am going to be doing a lot more driving, AC is a neccesity.

Today was sort of odd... I thought I would be more depressed at the change, but there were times when I was feeling quite happy! My previous moves were quite tearful (KC to Champaign, and Champaign to Phoenix). No tears at all today. Think my subconcious realizes that this is a good thing?

Have an appointment @ Office Team on Tuesday. I'm almost tempted to take a vacation...

Have a great, relaxing weekend :)

sometimes it can be good to step back, relax, and get away from things for a little while, long as you are in a good position to do so.
and I'd like to think that even if we don't know what that reason is, everything that happens does have one. Trust in that, and seek out what it is that you are ment to be doing. That's what I tend to do every time something major changes in my life. Though, as my place in life seems to be that of a sage, thinking like that comes pretty normal to me.

*nods* yeah, I'm the same way. If I like what I'm doing, I dig into it and don't really "need" a vacation all that often. So I only end up taking time off if there's something that I really want to do. But have fun on your little break. :)

School is always a good thing. I've been wanting to get back myself and at least get my cirts so that I can get a job that's more my speed. One of my coworkers back when I was on through Kelly services was in school to be a paralegal, she was loving it. She said that some parts of it were pretty hard, but if researching is your cup of tea, then it would be right up your ally. Aperantly, from what she told me, that's a LOT of what the classes are, How to fill out forms, and where to get information.
