Well, 3 more days till I am officially jobless... Most of the people left at the Scottsdale office will be having a sort of 'dead dog' party after we are kicked out on Friday...
I need to clear out my cube tomorrow and Thursday. (It is amazing the amount of stuff I've accumulated!) Including 3 plants.

Thanks to my hubby, I now have a new battery for my iBook! :) my current one will only hold about 18% of it's original charge. http://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutbattery/index.html is a handy little program. The scary thing is the rapid dropoff the battery has had. As of 11 sept. it still had 47% of original capacity... My iBook is just about 2 years old now, and from what I've read, that is about the normal life for the batteries... It is just odd with the rapid drop off...

Birthday weekend was fun. We went to see the current Bond film, because I wanted to go see it. I haven't always been that much of a Bond fan, but I really enjoyed this one!
Then this past Suanday, we went to see TransSiberian Orchestra. WONDERFULL!!!!! I am going to have to get some of their CDs.

I'll admit that I'm a bit out of the loop, as I don't get to read these things anywhere near as much as I might like to, but what happened to your job? If I remember right, (and this may have changed) weren't you at that job like forever?
And yeah, I had that same problem with the battery in my HP, it was good for about an hour, then within the span of maybe two or three months, it got so I could barely unplug it, and dart to a different room to plug it in again. Though, I got pretty lucky with that battery, I had it for about 3 or so years. There seems to be a bit of a gray area as far as what's best for the batteries too, like some people will say to use them to near exhaustion before charging them, some that it doesn't matter, just charge them whenever. I guess $200 every 2 years isn't such a bad price to pay, to be able to move a computer around from room to room without having to carry five different things around eh?
TSO is the bomb, I've got some of their stuff myself, wonderfull the way they put rock and orchestrial insturments togeather. Ever hear of a band called Manheim Steemroller? If you like TSO, you might like them as well.

*hugs*

Yeah, but still, 13 years is a long time to work for someone, especially now a days. Best of luck in your job search, I hope that something comes to you soon, and it's something that works well for you.
I didn't know that Sony made batteries for the iBook? Interesting. *laughs* And it blows one of the things a friend of mine said a few months back out of the water. He told me that Sony, and Apple disliked each other, and didn't work together on anything. It'd be hard to make a battery for a laptop without it's specs.
