vik_thorHappy Mother's Day to all the Moms and Moms to be that happen to be reading this! (Primarily thinking of Vicky and Tyger, and Dianna (if you are still active on here!) as I don't know the motherhood status of anyone else...)
Called my Mom early this afternoon, MST, and talked to her for a few minutes. That's about all her voice can handle these days. I could tell that it was weakening a little bit in just the little time we were talking... :/
She hadn't gotten her card yet. :b Delores did get hers though, so Mom should get hers tomorrow. I got Dee one, because her kids are basically my Mom's grandkids. Or at least that's how she treats them. I've told her that any grandmothering she's gonna get is to them. Or Wendell's kids, but I don't know how often she sees them. (That reminds me, I gotta get Andrew a ecard for his birthday, tomorrow.)
That would be one of the pluses if I do get transferred to the Chicago area after the Albertsons split. Much closer to family! I didn't get down there much when I was in Champaign, but made it down at least a couple times a year...

This is my cousin Wade, and his sons. I have officially named them Mom's grandkids. This was a couple days after Andy's birth. Tomorrow is his 3rd.
