Well, I voted today.
And I had to cast a provisional ballot. After we moved to this apt., I did update my address with the MVD. But I decided not to have a new driver's license sent to me. So, since the address on my DL didn't match what they had in the voter lists, they couldn't let me do a normal ballot.

After we get moved into the new apt., I will definately be getting a new DL.

Speaking of which, Jos and I will be going down tonight to sign the lease.
I think I will like the new apartment quite a bit. It's pretty much downtown, so I am going to be having quite a drive to work.
It is in the Roosevelt area of Phoenix, which is going through quite a bit of renovation.

The Phoenix election today was all bond issues, though some of the other cities in the Valley had mayoral or city council elections.
The total of the 8 bond issues is $878,500,000. For various construction things.
I voted yes on some, no on some.

They gave me a receipt for my provisional ballot, so I can call to check to see if my ballot gets counted.

[Poll #691174]

(This is my first poll, even though I've been a paid user for quite awhile. I just felt like trying out the poll feature. Did learn something... Set up the poll first, then write the rest of the entry... I lost the original stuff I had typed. Everything before the poll was retyped...)

The poll about the poll worked great :)

Neat news about you guys getting a new place, sounds like it's going to be a nice improvement for you guys, though yeah, commutes kinda bite.

CYa!
