movie night

revived something today I haven't done in quite awhile.

went out to eat and read (taking my time), then go see a movie (matinee pricing).

used to do this every week or 2 while living in IL (one of the advantages to having days off during the week, matinees are quite a bit less crowded! :)

Today's movie was Rent.
never saw the musical, never heard the soundtrack, first time seeing the movie.
4 out of 5 paws. (and yes, I am late in seeing it. went to the local 2nd run theater.

I was crying quietly for the last part of the movie, the whole part after Angel died. (and it has been quite awhile since a movie affected me this much.) I think I will be buying the soundtrack soon.

Now I just need to drag Jos out of the apt. at some point to go see BrokeBack Mountain.

You seriously need to update more. Yes, do drag Jos out. Even if he goes kicking and screaming at first. Every once in awhile you should do something different, even a little (just a little) selfish.
