Vik-Thor
What color am I?
We shall see.
«added later, after seeing the colour»
Black?
Not a nice bright electric blue, or fuscia, or green, or even a hot pink.
just plain dull black.
Bleagh.
Short reviews of Genus Male, Satyr, and Green Lantern below. No real spoilers.
Genus Male #1 ($3.99 cover) artists/writers Daria McGrain, Mui, Richard Moore
This is just what the title says... «g» regular Genus is aimed at hetero men. i.e. lots of female characters. Genus Male is aimed at the gay male furry fans. «yums»
4 stories, 4 pinups. All quite nice.
Daria and Miu's artwork is 'standard' furry style.
Richard's is atypical... no tails, and the characters' heads are closer to the 'regular' animals they are based on.
Will continue to buy, if it is a regular series. (I hope so!!)
8 of 10.
Satyr #0 ($2 cover) writer/artist Mike Indovina
Silenus, king of satyrs and other woodland beings, and his followers do a "Satyr Play" based on Oedipus Rex.
Nice, clean artwork. Not 'amateurish' but very different from mainstream comics. Mike has a distinctive art style. His style reminds me of Roberta Gregory's, in a way.
Though I must say, he needs to work on his centaur. (background character only... doesn't affect my enjoyment of story.)
Look forward to the regular series of this!

Green Lantern #147 ($2.25 cover) Judd Winick/writer, Dale Eaglesham/pencils, Rodney Ramos/ inks, Moose Bauman/colors, Kurt Hathaway/letters
Only recently started following GL, and yes, I'll admit because of Terry, Kyle Rayner's assistant, coming out. «g»
Terry doesn't appear in this one, and Kyle only appears on a couple pages.
This issue focuses on John Stewrt, who I really don't know much of, as I don't follow a lot of the titles in the present day, mainstream DC Universe. Mostly Legion and many Vertigo titles...
