Gee, I'm on vacation for just a few days, and I've posted more than I have for quite awhile.

Friday, Jos drove me down to a medcenter, so I could piss in a cup, So I can work @ Wal*Mart part time over the X-mas season.. Called W yesterday, see what was up. She said she hadn't heard back from the med place yet. When Jos got home last night, he said he'd asked her about it, and that the courier service hadn't even picked up the specimen on Friday! :þ Called today, and she still hadn't heard back from them.... Hopefully she'll hear tomorrow!

I want a GPS unit! :)
I want to do GeoCaching, and GeoDashing, and BenchMark hunting.
Oh well, one of these days... I've been bidding on some Magellan Handspring units (since I do own a Handspring. but keep getting outbid.)

If there are easy geocaches with detailed clues, you could probably try to find them without a GPS. Also, many benchmarks have good descriptions of where to find them so you could do those too.

Personally, I prefer a standalone handheld GPS receiver to the springboard module because with the module, I'd have to be really careful not to drop the Handspring or get it wet. But it should be fine if you're careful. There are some geocachers who use that module quite successfully.
