vik_thorWell, I think I'm gonna try the NaNoWriMo this year. I guess tomorrow, I'll have to do 3000 words, to make up for today... I remember hearing about it last year, and saw that it was starting in ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
xydexx's journal. so we shall see how it goes... «sighs» I do want to be more [actively creative] than I am. I have gotten a few nice ideas in the Homestead Space RP but nothing really major.
(Actually, I do have to take that back slightly... One of my characters (Vik-Thor, yes, I have trouble coming up with names. Besides, he's my main online avatar) is a shaper. He was able to give one of the NPCs an anchor so that she was able to still be active, 500,000 years in the future... She had recently died, and he was able to merge her body with the space station, giving her spirit/soul an anchor.)
Yes, I've done that map thingy that's been floating around. At least you are getting something in this besides just that. :)
a couple ppl on my list are coming up odd.mortonfox looks like he is a couple hundred miles out in the Atlantic ocean, and ralesk is several hundred miles N of British Isles, instead of being on the European continent... Will be interesting to see where ionotter ends up. «g»
Currently reading The Wraiths of Will and Pleasure by Storm Constantine. The 4th novel in the Wraethu series. Quite nice.
Bought a spider plant recently, to take to work. Nice to have a bit of greenery in my cubical. Need to get a jade plant for home.
Wal*Mart isn't gonna let Jos have the time off we were hoping for, to go pick up the rest of my stuff in IL... «shrugs» eventually, we'll get out there, and I get to introduce my BF to my parents. This should be interesting... Something I've never done before. Of course, he's the first guy I've felt strong enough for to do it...
