Oct. 4th, 2002 09:54 pmWell, today was not great....
Looked @ several apt. complexes, (one is very nice price and location wise, but it's right across the street from a highschool...) but none of the management was in for any of them.... :þ
Had luch at Noodle Café. Interesting concept. 1 page has italian dishes, other page has (mostly) Japanese, and half of that page is soups.
I ordered one of the Japanese soups with udon (sp?) noodles. Quite good. I think I will be going back again, at least as long as it lasts...
Finished reading Colonization: Aftershocks by Harry Turtledove.
I want MORE!!!!!
It doesn't really end in a cliffhanger, per se... It's just a major revalation of something that's been hinted at during the rest of the series.
Started on The Masters of Solitude by Marvin Kaye and Parke Godwin (c) 1978
A very good post-apocalyptic type novel.
