We had Scully put to sleep tonight. :_(

She has been having kidney issues for about the past month or so, and she had 'forgotten' how to use litterbox. We have had to keep her out on the balcony for the past couple of weeks.
It was to a point where she was pissing while sitting down, and not moving...

she has been part of Jos' life for about 9 years.

(and on a side note, I was surprised at how much it cost!)

yah, her last month was not the best.

(Part of the cost was the cremation. Jos chose individual cremation, with cremains returned to us.)

Panta (my cat, in this user pic)is approx 15yo, and still going strong. When it is his time, I am planning on burial, out in the country.

I have a friend whose mother had a fat old tortoise shell cat that lived to be 23 years old. We were both pretty sure it was just because she was too damn mean to die.
