I am so tempted to write in Collin Sri'vastra...
I've heard that there is a good chance that Iowa may come out as a tie for the 'frontrunners' in both parties. I hope so.
It's ridiculous that the media talk as if a win in Iowa will determine who we will vote for.
I really think our election process needs to be reformed...
(Personally, right now, I like Gov. Richards. Followed by Obama.)
Richards/Obama 2008!!!

Date: 2008-01-02 02:55 pm (UTC)1.) The media thrives on controversy, and anything that they can hype as being "uncertain." Sadly, watching political races is like watching paint drip, dry, and then fade all in one sitting.
2.) There is a lot of pushing by the media for a democrat contender to "take it all," mainly the favorite being Hillary, but she is losing a lot of ground and steam showing that she is not as strong as they hype her out to be.
3.) And also, there is a lot of laziness on the part of today's media in repeating any and everything that comes in on the AP wire, or their email boxes. It is getting rarer to find someone who would write anything new, or even do any research on something.

Date: 2008-01-03 04:13 am (UTC)I think we should change to Approval voting or something similar.
Regional rotating primaries would be a good first step too. (and maybe non partisan primaries...)
