I just got back from my interview out at UTI.
Did not go well. They are wanting someone with more current library experience than what I have. I was actually afraid of that. Truly, I don't really think I am competent to be soley in charge of a library/resource center/media center at this time. I would be good as a supporting role in such an environment, but I just don't have the current experience.
So, I shall just chalk this up as the first in person interview of this round and slog on.
(one thing that would have been nice about getting it... commute. 107th Ave to home on I-10, took me MAYBE 20 minutes. I didn't pay close attention to the time, but could not have been more that that. This was right around 5pm, the height of the afternoon rush hour. Coming home from current job, lately has been taking closer to a full hour. and most of that has been once I actually get over half way home...)
