vik_thorhope those who are going to AnthroCon get there safely and have LOTS of fun!!
I had hoped to go to San Diego Comic Con, but that looks like that won't be happening. I am going to make it to one of the local cons. There is a scifi convention and a comic convention.
I am SO not having good luck with car. Firestone moved the wheel Jos bought to right rear. and it started giving the same freaking trouble as it did on the front left. right now, I am driving on the donut tire, and 3 lugbolts.
It is taking about an hour to and from work, since I am taking surface streets all the way. I don't take freeway w/ donut.

jfox stopped by Sunday night. Or rather, he stopped in Phoenix, and Jos and I went down to the truck yard and picked him up. We went out to the Five & Diner for supper. Jos and JFox talked about trucking. I mostly just listened.
Diana got a job at the Glendale office. Starting Sunday, I am working 7-11am, Monday - Thursday 7-4. Off Friday and Satyrday. It is going to be so wierd working the scan desk by myself.
The splitup of Albertsons is going as smoothly as silk on a cactus, to use Janet's phrasing. Some of the managers are likening it to a messy divorce... CVS is the one giving us problems. Have they ever heard of COMMUNICATION???
