vik_thorWell, I spent much of the day in shopping therapy. :)
Wandered a lot of yard/garage sales, thrift stores, and Wally World.
Primary quest, cooking utensils (specifically pans) was achieved, with my first ever purchase of a new set of pans @ WallyWorld. A small set, 7 pieces, including lids, but should serve me quite well.
Also bought a 1gal jar of pickles, which were just a few cents more than the smaller jar. O.o
From yard sales, I bought a desk/chair for 'puter (so my legs aren't always going to sleep!) and a bookcase. The desk will definitely eventually be replaced, as the top is to high to comfortably keyboard on for long. Oh, and a couple small stainless steel mixing bowls, for my kids' water.
Now to start filling the bookshelf... :) (I need to find a good used bookstore around here. Preferably one that focuses on SF/Fantasy. Any Phoenix area ppl. know of one? :)
