Jun. 19th, 2002 10:33 pmSaw my first lightning bug/firefly of the season last night. :)
Still haven't heard from BestBuy. Called them today, Tom (the Merchandising Manager) wasn't in... I'll try again tomorrow.
Work was busy. Had a Scan Audit today, got 93%, one of the lowest I've gotten. «baps» management.
Was in 1hr again, doing some reprints, and a roll.

lightning bugs
Date: 2002-06-19 08:45 pm (UTC)One of teh things I remember -- something that I never saw before or since that night -- a hill full of lightning bugs.
After walking the 318 or so steps down the stairs from the road we walked along the beach with plans to walk up the next set of stairs 1/2 mile down the beach. as we walked a long, in teh underbrush and such that is on the steep hills were 1000s of lightning bugs, making a interesting site to look at from the beach.
It was one of the best night walks I had in my short time on this planet, a good memory.
My friends do not live near teh beach anymore -- I'll miss the night time beach walks out that way.
