classes and job
Aug. 20th, 2007 09:27 pmwell, classes started today, and I bought most of my books for 3 classes.
About $300.
And I still have to buy 1 more set.
The classes I am taking this semester are:
Legal Procedures 1. 1 textbook ($99 used) and the 2007 Arizona Rules of Court Procedure, Annotated. ~ $50. (the Rules is the one Istill need to get. the bookstore didn't have them out when I went in to get them.) The good thing is, both of these are used for Legal Procedures 2, which I will be taking next semester.
Legal Writing, 1 soft cover text book, about $99 new (they wre out of used...) A citation manual, grammar guide, and another book, at a lot less each.
Legal Research. 1 soft cover textbook, about $30. That I have no complaints about...
And I am supposed to fill out paperwork sometime this week to get on permanently @ CBS Outdoors. Hopefully this will include a bit of a pay raise. :) Of course, it will also include insurance payments. They do offer Domestic Partner insurance, which I will be taking advantage of. But it is going to cost a bit more. And somehow, I will be paying income tax on part of it...
