Kooking Kitty
Dec. 16th, 2002 09:26 pmWell, tomorrow (Tomorrow, Tomorrow, There's Always Tomorrow!) is our food day @ work. Sortof group meeting and get together.
I'm gonna try making a 15 Bean Soup, in crockpot. Tonight, rinse the beans, and leave them to soak. When I get up in morning, drain them, then put them back in the crock, with hamhock, onion and water, and turn it on high for a few minutes before I have to head out to work. Get to work, plug it in again, and set it on High, and hope it finishes cooking by the time we start the meeting... Get to work @ 0730, meeting usually starts about 1030-1100, so it should have about 3 hours to cook....
Need to wrap my present for the gift exchange... Desk lamp. «shrugs»
Need to make a snowman... out of styrofoam balls...
What's the best way to drain a pot of beans? And am I supposed to put them in the fridge while soaking, or leave them out to soak?
Wheee!!!!
I'm cooking! I'm a chef!!! :D
