Back is feeling better!! :) was planning on spending a lot of the day moving stuff to storage, but with back being sore, didn't want to risk making it worse, so went down to hang out in Chambana. Probably do a lot of the moving Satyrday...
B.Dalton called Sunday, (I think) to see if I could work tonight, 5-9. Sure!! Need all the extra money I can get right now!! :) Took change of clothes down with me, to change into b4 going in to work...
Found out Mon (or Tues) John K., our Management Trainee @ Osco is finally getting promoted! Assistant Mgr @ a store in Shawnee KS. Starting Monday.
So, for those keeping track....
John K's last day is tomorrow.
Cathy O's last day is next Th.. (Cosmetician, retiring)
My last day is the 28th, the following Wed. (transferring to Scottsdale office.)
That's a lot for a store to absorb in such a sort period of time...
Stopped in today, and found out one of our part timers, clocked out for lunch (or break... not sure which, exactly) and left... Basically, quitting... Not all that surprising, as we'd had some problems with him b4.... but still.....
So, Wayne asked if I'd be able to work for awhile today.. So, I should have about 2.5 hours of overtime on the paycheck for this week... :) That'll be nice.
Wayne asked me yesterday if there was anything they could offer me to stay at this store.... (while saying he didn't think he could match the raise I'm getting by going out there...)
I really felt bad, but had to tell him no.... It's not even primarily about the extra money (although that is quite nice!! $2/hr increase!!! :) It's primarily the job... I've been wanting to get out there for well over a year...
It's just working out to such bad timing for this store...... :-( I truly feel bad about leaving them in the lurch like this, but.....
