What a day...Worked both Osco and B.Dalton today. Nothing really stressful with that, just a long day...
(I ended up buying Shelters of Stone at B.Dalton. The new Jean M. Auel book. I shouldn't have. I really need to save money for other stuff... Rent, car payments, food....)
When got home, no message from BestBuy, which I was sorta hoping to hear from. (Maybe tomorrow...)
No message from car dealership, re: my car.
Message from Computer Rennaisance. They're not going to buy my system. «sighs» I was really hoping for that $250. I think when I bring it home, I may wipe WinME from it, and install Linux.
Or, better idea!!!
Keep WinME (or even better idea, install Win98SE, which I have a copy of, from my 1st 'puter), and set it up as a dual boot, with Linux.
Keeping Windows on that system, I'll be able to install Office 97 on it, thus keeping it seperate from my main system. I've got Word 2002 on main system (from MSWorks Suite) and could have Outlook 2000, from my iPAQ. (Which I REALLY wish I could get to synch!)
I think I wouldn't want to try to mix those 2 and Office97 on the same system.
(Getting O97 from Hartree. Help me when I move to Scottsdale, as Office 97 is the version used out there)
