Once upon a time in America
Jan. 14th, 2002 09:32 pmhuh?
what brought that on??
The Mgt Trainee position wasn't posted today.
Started training our current Mgt.Trainee in scanning.
Never actually trained someone to do my job. Can be very detailed.
And of course, this is a person who failed in Elementary Education... (me)
The type of job I'd really like, within Osco, is a DSC (District Systems Coordinator). Unfortunately, the ppl. who have those positions, like them, and don't leave them very often.
«sighs» And there is a timing error I did. A few months after I moved to Champaign from Kansas City, they made a new district in the KC area... :þ If I had known that was coming, I would've stayed out there, and tried for being the DSC of the new district. My store out there is in the new district, so I probably wouldn't even have had to move....
Both my DSC in KC, and here have said they think I'd make a good DSC. In fact, Kathy, my current DSC, tried to get info on a position up in Michigan. Nothing ever came of that. (I keep telling them, the company needs to move into either southern Illinois, or St. Louis. They don't listen to me, though...)
(I need to get a few more pics available...)
