vik_thorWell, today was basically total wash.
Jos had borrowed my Debit card a few days ago, and I didn't get it back until last night.
Yesterday, I stopped by the Phoenix College bookstore to get my books for this semester. (I had been thinking classes started on the 27th, but they actually start tomorrow. I had been planning on buying my books from Amazon, but no time now.) Take them up to the register, and realize I don't have my card with me... and nowhere near enough cash. >$250
So today, I go down to the Tempe ASU bookstore, see if they happen to have any of the books, and they don't.
Went by Wal*Mart to pick up a few things;
Sandals: the few they had in styles I like were WAY to big for me. I think the smallest they had was 12. The ones that were n my size were plastic.
Printer Cartridge: they were sold out of the one we need.
Micro SD card: well, they did have one, and I did buy it. However, when I got home, I found the one I thought I had lost... So now I get to go back out into the heat and return it.
Tomorrow, I will try to leave work a bit early, hit the bookstore and pick up books, then over to class.
Sandals, I will probably wait till next Saturday.
3 things I did accomplish: bought some presents for Mom (birthday & Xmas), got a shipment off to BookRecyclers, and bought some seltzer water. (the last 3 6packs the store had...)
my current pair of sandals, the right one has a major split in the sole. all the way across and all the up to the inner lining.
