YAY!!!
Tonight was my last night working @ Wal*Mart photo center!
Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy working there, most of the time. And I could survive if that was my only job. (I think) However, as a second job I've just been draining myself of energy (and time). (I just hope Jos is correct when he says we'll be able to survive w/out it.) I got along well with coworkers and everything. (though I was certainly reminded of why I wanted to get out to the Albertsons office so much!) I MUCH prefer working in the office to dealing with customers face to face. Of course, it can get crazy at times (especially around Christmas!) but as a whole it is quite nice. I definitely love my coworkers in Scanning! (Now if I could just figure out why IT didn't start working on Sunrise 2005 until Sept.... Yes, we are having issues with it. Of course, it doesn't help that our mainframe is probably >25 years old)
Don't remember if I mentioned who our new Manager in scanning is... Tess Cuomo. Since Cyndi didn't get it, that means I won't be able to apply for the Assistant Manager position. Maybe next time. I do think that Tess will be good for us is some ways.
And it is raining again!! O.O what's up with that?? We live in the middle of a desert, and it's been raining quite regularly over the past month or so. (of course, being in a desert just means the average annual rainfall is <10". and the west has been in a multiyear drought. So, hopefully, this means the drought has broken!) Just seems weird to be getting this much rain. (wonder if this is the normal winter climate around here. It is nice. just odd.)
(though I am slightly afraid to see what the electric bill is going to be this summer for the house we are living in!)
